Programs OfferedPrograms We are a small committee with lots of big ideas for future programs. We would love to have new members and are receptive to suggestions for future programs. Please give us a call if you would like to help out. We are also looking for people interested in leadership in any of our upcoming activities. Some of the things that we hope to organize in the winter of 2001 include:
We offer a variety of special needs services including ramps, auto door opening, flexible seating, spacious washrooms, assisted hearing devices, and large print booklets. We seek to be a physically, emotionally, and spiritually accessible community of faith. Healing and Wholeness: Healing Pathway In the tradition of the Healing ministry of Jesus, healing touch is offered to individual congregational members most Monday nights. A group meditation starts the evening for practitioners, then individual sessions offer safe haven for healing to manifest. This is a God guided path. assisted by Healing Pathway practitioners, to restore balance and wholeness of body, mind, and spirit, within individuals, relationships, community, and creation. Healing Pathway sessions are available for drop-ins and/or appointment Mondays between 7:15 pm and 9:45 pm. What the labyrinth for personal meditative worship - on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm . Click here for more information This fellowship group meets for brunch and conversation on the second Sunday of each month. It's a great opportunity to meet new friends. The first Sunday of the month finds the men of the congregation in the Church Hall enjoying a substantial breakfast and an equally substantial discussion on a wide variety of topics. All men are welcome! We are thrilled to have choirs and instrumental groups for all ages! We meet on Thursday evenings; call the church office for times and locations. Music Director, Donna McGonigle welcomes new voices and instruments. Bring your ideas and enthusiasm. We can make great music together. Parents' Morning Out Parents of young children get together on a week day morning at a home (or at the church!) for conversation and (if they wish) study. Please call the church office if you are interested. This form of worship celebrates the sole through movement and music on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm. Join us for an oasis of meditative, calming, and deeply spiritual worship on the fourth Wednesday of every month, at 7 pm. This form of worship uses repetitive singing of (sometimes ancient) chants in a variety of languages. Wonderful harmonies emerge, both musically and spiritually. You don't have to be a good singer to enjoy this. All are welcome.
