Looking In: Branching Out

Our Youth Advisory Council includes grade reps, parents, and advisors who develop our programs and events from creative suggestions and feedback.

Sunday Mornings at 10am – most Sundays we gather with the larger community then meet together to explore a theme, connect it to a relevant Bible story or passage, and seek to understand what it means to be Christian within the current context of our lives.

Outreach – Youth are invited to share their time and talents in the life of the congregation by volunteering to perform various tasks.

Mid-Week – view the Upcoming Events which provide opportunity to meet at least monthly to build a social network, share experiences, explore relationships with our community, undertake service projects, have fun, and support each other.

Confirmation / Membership Preparation
Periodically, we offer sessions over several months to prepare youth who wish to confirm membership in the United Church of Canada and this congregation.

Previous Mountain Adventures: These summer backcountry hiking trips have been to Bow Hut, Constellation Lake, Johnson Canyon, Abbott Pass, and Stanley Mitchell Hut (Iceline Trail).
